This is a systematic approach to assessing posture, flexibility, balance and function. This Training explores the interdependent relationship of the entire human-movement system (functional anatomy, functional biomechanics and motor behavior) as it works to produce force andstabilize the kinetic chain during functional movements. After testing, you will be prescribed stretches to correct tight muscles & Strengthening exercise to prevent injury. This is a must for all fitness enthusiasts!
Strength Testing
After 6 weeks of fitness training it's time to learn how much weight you should be able to move in at least 6 different exercises. Based on your age, weight & gender. Then be tested on how much you actually can move to determine your one rep maximum. From there Personal Trainer Monique Weinandt will create a workout program for based on the time it takes each muscle to recover after a light, medium or heavy workout.
V02 Max Testing
For you, VO2 max is an indicator of your aerobic potential and an opportunity to see where you fall in the fitness spectrum. For scientists, it is defined as the maximum amount of oxygen your body can take in and deliver per minute.
After the test Personal Trainer Monique will prescribe for you, an easy to understand progressive cardio program, based on your test results and your fitness goals.
Resting Metabolic Rate

The Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) test easily, painlessly, and accurately determines the minimum number of calories your body needs to support its basic functions. Since your RMR is generally 60-75% of your total daily caloric expenditure, knowing the minimum number of calories your body needs is critical when you are trying to lose, gain, or maintain weight.
Body Composition Testing

Body composition has more impact than weight alone on health and performance. Body composition testing reveals true markers for success in your weight management and fitness programs by measuring your progress in replacing fat with lean muscle mass. Highly trained specialists measure 8 locations and calculate body fat percentage using age- and gender-specific equations.
Also receive your, lowest recommended weight, Ideal Weight, & highest recommended weight, in writing.
