We've all heard that "You are what you eat." But this tired axiom only tells part of the story. It's also critical to consider HOW you eat, meal frequency, macro nutrient ratios, specificity to athletic objectives, and periodizing caloric intake. The government says that the RDA's are the answer. We agree, if mere survival is your objective. But if PERFORMANCE is your goal, the RDA's won't cut it. Neither will the 4 food groups. Based on the 2-day dietary record that you'll provide, Personal Trainer will help you understand your results.

Incorporating a cutting edge, scientifically sound nutritional regimen, however, will radically increase the effectiveness of your performance objectives--resulting in more lean mass, less body fat, and greater energy levels. By learning the science behind nutrition and its effects on performance, muscle growth, and fat loss, you will amaze your self when you see how quickly you achieve results as you apply this integrated approach to nutrition.

The second tool is an incredibly comprehensive section on supplementation which explains why nutritional supplements are vital to health and well-being and how they
